Earn money through guest blogging.
You can make a lot of money by guest blogging, but you should be careful. I assume you are familiar with how to write a quality guest post and how you pitch one to a potential editor. So I will give you several ways you can make some money.
These five methods can be classified into five categories.
Make your blog more popular by monetizing its views
Your website is the best place to start making money through guest blogging. Guest posting is about you trying to give value to another person in order to get them to do something.
In this situation, you choose to go for the easiest type of conversions, such as pay per view ads, simple sponsored content, and so on.
Ppm ads: Though ppm will not earn you a lot of cash, it’s still better than nothing. Ppm doesn’t require the user to do more than simply exist without ad blockers. The payout is very small but almost impossible to guarantee. The more guest post you do and the more traffic you pull in, you’ll make more money.
Use paid per click ads: With one caveat, is better that ppm? You have to get users clicking on the ads. If your ads aren’t compelling, users won’t click. And if they don’t, you don’t get any paid. Again, quantity is key here. You can test different ads as well as increase the volume on those that work.
Selling ad space privately: In place of using a network such as google, or something similar, you can make deals directly with advertisers through guest blogging services. Some might pay ppm while others may opt for ppc. Others might simply be open to paying a flat price regardless of whether the space has been used. You’ll have more control and flexibility than you would otherwise.
Sell sponsored post space: This acts in the opposite direction of guest blogging. You can attract certain audiences, people with blogs they wish to promote, and convince them to buy sponsored posts on you site.
You may sell sponsorship space for your newsletter to advertisers. There are rules and regulations you need to avoid a spam flag. However, it’s possible to do so as long your organic content is valuable.
Selling your own product/service
The first set of monetization methods is generally passive and low in value. If it is attractive, selling something with higher value will result in more revenue.
It has one drawback: it requires development and production. This can complicate traditional roi calculations for regular advertising.
Make a digital product: This is the current trend. However, you can still use web apps or cloud products to perform different tasks. You can also offer content to users, such as eBooks, which they might be interested in purchasing after having read your guest posts.
Buy a physical product: This product can be created remotely with a 3d printer. You can also order custom made products in bulk from a store. Simply, you need the storefront, the desire, and a place where your product can be stored between creations and sales.
Sell consulting services: Sometimes your own expertise is the most valuable product. If you offer consulting or advice, it’s possible to charge a high per-hour rate and get small businesses and entrepreneurs from around the world to take your time. You could even set up a student community to help one another out and charge for that privilege.
