.flexoffersFlexOffers.com was establish in 2008, but that’s pretty much all we know about their beginnings. They appear to be camera shy in an industry where team photos and goal declarations abound. FlexOffers, on the other hand. Has work hard to position itself as a force. After all, they’re competing against the likes of Commission Junction, Rakuten Linkshare, and Amazon, to name a few.
Getting Started
Before we get start, I have a small confession to make: I made a mistake when setting up my FlexOffers account.
I decided to ‘Advertiser’ instead of ‘Publisher’ for a certain strange reason.
Did you make a mistake?” the FlexOffers customer service team inquired in an email.
This is the kind of response I like to see from an affiliate network: humorous but effective in correcting the problem.
Anyway, how do you go about becoming a FlexOffers affiliate publisher? The following is a four-step procedure: 1 Confirm your email address and create an account password:
2 After that, you must log in to complete the account registration process, which requires you to provide some basic personal and business information:
3 Now, you must tell them where you intend to place your affiliate banners and links, or in other words, what your traffic sources are.
More
It’s noteworthy to note that they have distinct perspectives on social media and website traffic; this could indicate some internal processes.
You should also check if you’re a coupon site, a comparison site, or if you use pop-ups in your affiliate marketing campaigns.
4 Last but not least, you must validate your phone number and the ownership of the website you indicated in your application:
That’s all; now, you just have to sit back and wait for them to approve or reject your application.
Even new sites with little content. Flex offer appears to be review and approve by FlexOffers. They did for the new-ish affiliate site I used, at least.
Their support FAQs also include instructions on how to verify your free Wix, WordPress, or Blogger site, which is uncommon these days.
So, while the FlexOffers registration process is a little lengthy, it’s manageable.
This is a severe issue: high-earning affiliate accounts are. Deactivated in order to avoid payment.
People who sign up “under” you become sub-affiliates, which means you get a percentage of every sale they refer.
As a result, you effectively become a FlexOffers affiliate when you register your account.
Help from the Publisher
The FlexOffers knowledge base is rudimentary, and that’s the most remarkable thing I can say about it because it’s so small.
That was the case until they updated it while I was writing this review, at least.
Isn’t that typical?
The prior customer support system consisted of a handful of FAQs
, and the ticketed system. Appeared to be haphazardly put together.
If it was considered appropriate support for a FlexOffers affiliate, it didn’t exactly inspire confidence in the network.
However, they’ve recently moved to Zendesk, which allows you to search for answers rather than opening a ticket.
It wasn’t that the ticketing system was inefficient; it just felt like they were attempting to keep publishers at bay.
FlexOffers additionally provides an email address and a phone number for direct communication.
They don’t specify when you’ll get a response, but most emails are responded to within 24 hours.
FlexOffers Customer Reviews
So I went online to see if there were any negative comments or posts about FlexOffers:
Here’s what I discovered:
This is a severe issue: high-earning affiliate accounts are being deactivated in order to avoid payment.
The second group of complaints covers some of the same ground: unpaid affiliate commissions and a negative impression of FlexOffers’ customer service and ticketing mechanisms.
As well as more reports of affiliate payments going missing or being significantly delayed, even when the amounts are small.
When confronted with posts like this, it’s always a good idea to ask yourself some questions.
That isn’t to imply that FlexOffers, or any other affiliate network for that matter, is immune to payment problems or omissions.
Security Requirements
FlexOffers stands apart since they need you to use two-factor authentication as part of the login procedure.
This entails having a code
given to your phone at the start of each day to log in.
While this irritates me at times, it also provides a level of security to my account that I don’t have on any other affiliate network.
I wish other affiliate networks followed suit, especially in light of the increasing frequency of data breaches.
Though you lose access to your phone number, TFA (Two Factor Authentication) can become a problem.
Flexoffers
FlexOffers.com The year the company was founded was 2008. The number flexoffers of merchants
is estimated to be at 12,000 or more. Types of offers include pre-action, per-sale, per-lead, and per-install.
So here’s the TLDR version of our FlexOffers review for you lazy types:
Pros
• Can choose from tens of thousands of advertisers.
• One of the few mainstream networks that accept credit cards.
• Two-factor
authentication as – I’m sell.
• Simple sign-up process and openness to new affiliates
• A plethora of payment choices
• For the most part, a streamlined interface
• The Flex-Rev$hare program pays you for sales generated by sub-affiliates.
Cons
• Heir UI’s color palette kills my eyes — less blue, please!
• Scarcity of advanced link-building tools
• Customer service alternatives are mediocre at best.
