While EU/EEA students can study in Italy without a visa, other international students are not so lucky. Nevertheless, the visa application process becomes less complicated when you have all the necessary information.

Apply For a Work Permit in Italy
If you come from the European Union, you are allowed to work in Italy without needing a work permit. However, your work schedule should not exceed more than 20 hours per week during the semester. Also, If you wish to work full-time, you can only do so during vacations between semesters.
Overseas students from outside the EU will need to apply for a work permit at a local immigration office in Italy. However, you must first have a signed employment contract and present a copy to the immigration office.
